Develop a framework for the application of deep brain stimulation in the treatment of status dystonicus, cerebral palsy, and hyperkinetic movement disorders</p><p>2. Define emerging disease-modifying therapies for genetic movement disorders</p><p>3. Summarize the current approach to managing status dystonicus and other movement disorder emergencies in children</p><p>4. Describe the expanding molecular and clinical spectrum of epilepsy-dyskinesia syndromes</p><p>5. Develop an approach to palliative care for progressive movement disorders and transition of care from pediatric to adult neurology</p><p><br></p><p><strong>INTENDED AUDIENCE</strong></p><p>This activity is intended for for clinicians, fellows, residents, students, researchers, and health professionals.</p><p><strong>Poster Session - Abstract Submission Available</strong></p><p>The organizers invite interested participants to submit an abstract to be presented during the Poster Session on Day 2 of the <em>MDS-PAS Pediatric Movement Disorders Course</em>. Abstracts must be submitted on topics that are in line with the course program. Once an abstract is accepted, the presenter must complete course registration. Registration will close two weeks before the course on May 23, 2025. <em>Please note that abstract acceptance does not include a travel grant award.
