
African Section (MDS-AS)
All MDS members residing in the MDS-AS region are automatically members of the MDS-AS Regional Section, which provides local support and connections.
MDS-AS involvement is open to all members of MDS within the African region. MDS-AS aims to facilitate communication between clinicians and researchers in the region; disseminate updated knowledge about movement disorders; improve quality of life and independence of movement disorders patients and caregivers; and promote research in the field of Movement Disorders within the region.
As a newly established Section, MDS-AS is currently working to build a critical mass of members in Africa dedicated to improving the field of Movement Disorders in Africa. We invite all delegates from the African region to apply for a FREE No-Fee Membership with MDS.
If you live in any country in the African Section, you are eligible to join MDS for no fee.
