The Department of Neuroscience & Experimental Therapeutics (DNET) at Albany Medical College (AMC) invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor position to start in Fall 2026. We seek candidates using innovative approaches to address impactful scientific questions related to Parkinson’s disease or other movement disorders to interact in a department with strengths in stroke, epilepsy, aging, dementia, sex differences, fertility, sleep, and peripheral neuropathy.

The Department of Neurology at the University of California, Davis is seeking a clinically focused Movement Disorders Neurologist to join its expanding academic practice. Appointments are available in either the Clinical Neurology (Clinical X) series or the Health Sciences Clinical Professor series at the Assistant, Associate, or Professor level. Clinical X faculty are expected to engage in professional competence, teaching, research/creative work, and university/public service. Health Sciences Clinical Professor faculty focus on teaching, professional activity, scholarly/creative work, and service.

The UC Davis Movement Disorders program participates in industry- and NIH-sponsored clinical trials and collaborates on translational research with basic neuroscience faculty. While this is primarily a clinical role, opportunities exist for investigator-initiated basic science and clinical research. Resources include a centralized IRB, departmental grant support, clinical research coordinators, and research facilities. The NIH-funded UC Davis CTSC offers additional training, including the K30 Master’s in Clinical Research. The clinic operates within a multidisciplinary team including neuropsychologists, a nurse practitioner, genetic counselor, and social worker, supported by specialized therapists and clinical staff. Advancing the Gut-Brain-Fiber Axis: Research Grants for Neurological and Gastrointestinal Outcomes. We invite investigator-initiated proposals examining how dietary fiber and gut microbiome modulation influence meaningful clinical outcomes in neurological and gastrointestinal conditions.

Sorridi Therapeutics is offering research funding and standardized NeuroFiber formulations to support studies focused on the gut–brain axis and microbiome–diet–host interactions. Up to $15,000 is available per project. Proposals are welcome across all research stages, with priority given to clinical-stage studies. Areas of interest include neurological conditions such as Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's disease, multiple sclerosis, migraine, and stroke, as well as any condition with gut–brain axis involvement.
